Parks, Plazas & Open Space Committee

Objectives

Addresses the planning, design, maintenance, programming, and enhancement of the district’s parks, plazas, greenstreets, street trees, sidewalks as public spaces, and other civic open spaces. The Committee considers passive and active recreation needs, public art, public amenities, street co-namings, cultural and community programming & events, and the diverse uses of public spaces, working with relevant agencies, and community partners to enhance the district’s public realm.
